Eye Chimes are quite simply stunning, in both their towering appearance and their low resonant sounds. The seven chimes are pitched two octaves below middle C, Whilst the chimes themselves range in height from 1.4m to 2.7m The chimes are made100mm diameter heavey- duty alluminium tube and are usually set in a horseshoe- shaped base to enable the player to experience  a surround sound effect. Whilst the chimes are usually kept together in such an arrangement to create the maximum sound effect for the children, they are nevertheless avaliable to buy individually.

This outdoor musical instrument has been inpected by the play inspecction company who have confirmed its compliance with EN1176, the european standard for playground equipment. Eye chimes are also supplied with two durable mallets, made to withstand  the outdoor elements of the brittish weather, that are attached to the instrument with coated steel cables. All our eye chimes are tuned to the pentatonic scale, the scale of five notes which allows children to create and invent harmonious sounds without struggling with wrong notes or dissonant chords!
